I love Adam he's ace, and also a super Illustrator. He works using using a mixture of different media, from pencil drawing to epic 3D sculptures and lovely little plastic donuts.

I am often chatting to him about his next Illustrative mission. He takes residence in the attic of a big house with his cat where he dreams up his ideas. He then he takes them and his cat (I made that bit up, but I like the idea) to his studio where his ideas take shape and he can dazzle us with all the wondrous creations featured on his website!

I haven't known of Fay for a very long time. She is a wonderful lovely little charm of a lady. She is a fellow Illustrator and a fucking good one too. She makes me laugh, and says things that I wish I had though of. I wish we lived closer.

I remember loving her work when I first saw it at her degree show in the summer. Her hand drawn dark luxurious illustrations are gorgeous. She draws sexy fox ladies peeing, narwhals and bears. We both hate moths and love cats. Hopefully it won't be long now until she is snapped up and gets the recognition she deserves.

I could say a million word about her and her works, but none will do the justice they deserve. You simply must go to her website this instant. (My secret diary exposed is a winner.)

New year newness. Well I have this new blog that isn't new at all, I have just jazzed it up a bit. Same goes with the Facebook group and the new webshite that is coming along.

I updated www.elliottrooney.com a while ago but its not the final product. I wanna get that shit up and running asap. I am currently working on a few new images and i am very excited about it.

I have a pic of a guy I know and i have made his face 100% symmetrical. Its looking good, at first it doesn't look right but you cant tell why untill you realize its in fact a total mirror image.

Also I am about to embark on the beggining of my teaching mission, I go back to college next month so that will be mildly exciting, stressful, and give me something new to moan about. Hoorah.

This year can fuck off. I hate it. I've manged to achive fuck all. I haven't got a job. I didn't move to London. I'm not doing my MA and I have fuck all money.

Not just me though, I can think of loads of people who are ready to set fire to this crappy year. I live in the hell hole of Devizes and can not wait to get out of here and for something fun to happen. 2010 will be better. I have a good feeling about it.

I got an iPhone because my blackberry decided to be a prick but it's fucking shit. If you know someone with an iPhone who likes it they are liars.
Some of the shit is cool on it but at the end of the day it's a fucking phone.
It's a fucking nightmare to text on and it sometimes doesn't hang up and the battery last all of about 8 hours. iPhone I hate you. Dick.

I DID THIS A YEAR AGO AND IN TRUE "ELLIOTT" STYLE, GOT BORED OF IT.

BUT IN MY MISSION TO BECOME A BETTER ILLUSTRATOR I THINK I KINDA HAVE TO GO BACK TO MY ART ROOTS!

MY PROBLEM WITH THE WORK I CREATE IS IT HAS TO BE QUICK AND INSTANT AND VERY "OF THE MOMENT." I FIND SITTING LOOKIN AT A CANVAS FOR THREE DAYS A BIT OF A HEAD FUCK. I ALWAYS KNOW, EVERY MARK I MAKE COULD POTENTIALLY MAKE IT LOOK COMPLETE SHITE! YOU CANT JUST CLICK APPLE-Z!
